Flame Retardant Wood Spray Class A (Gallon)

FLAMEBUSTERS Class 'A' Wood fire retardant may be used on both interior and exterior wood surfaces and any application requiring a Class"A" rating. Flamebusters Class "A" Wood also acts as a fungus inhibitor and is resistant to most insects, rodents and certain molds.. Flamebuster Class "A" Wood fire retardant liquid has a flame spread of 25 and will withstand up to 200 inches of rain or five years without re-treatment. Exposure to rain will, however, gradually cause the the protection to diminish and will cause the surfaces to loose their 'finish.' We reccomend the application of a clear sealer to delay this from happening. This makes the product excellent for wood roofs, wood siding, fences, barns, stables, wood decks and out buildings as well as interior uses. FLAMEBUSTERS Class "A" Wood fire retardant has exceeded the requirements of the ASTM-E-108 also described by UL 790, UBC 72, UBC 32-7, NFPA 256 and ASTM G-53.

Flamebusters Class "A" Wood is not recommended for use on wood flooring surfaces that are continuously damp or wet. This will create a hazardous walking surface. Flamebusters Class "A" Wood should not be applied over previously painted or stained surfaces. However, we reccomend Flamebusters Class "A" Wood be covered with a clear sealant to protect the finish. Flamebusters Class "A" Wood is very pungent while being applied. The oder will increase dramatically if spraying. Please use plenty of ventilation and wear a mask during application. FLAMEBUSTERS Class 'A' Wood is, when dry, an odorless, colorless, non-toxic formulation that prevents flames from spreading by a chemically self extinguishing reaction. FLAMEBUSTERS Class 'A' Wood is shipped ready to use with no mixing or dilution required. Unlike other fire retardants that require two or three coats with high pressure equipment, Flamebuster products require only one coat.
