All Flamebuster fire retardant sprays for fabric, wood, lumber, paper products, Christmas Trees and safety products are non-hazardous, non-toxic and safe for children, pets, livestock, and other prized possessions.

All Flamebuster Flame Retardant Spray products dry colorless, odorless, and meet ALL 5 MODEL BUILDING CODES as prescribed by the Construction Specification Institute. Additionally our flame retardant sprays meet or exceed UL, ASTM, NFPA, FAA, and NFP Life Safety Code testing standards. This makes Flamebuster Flame Retardants ideal for use in the home, hotel/motel, churches, day-care centers, apartments, student housing, theatres, schools, hospitals, office buildings, nursing homes, retirement communities, restaurants, vacation homes, sheds, barns, animal stalls, and a myriad of other applications where fire prevention is important to you or required by local, state or national requirements. While Flamebuster wood products comply with UL 723, we have withdrawn our Listing with UL for economic reasons, not because we have, in any way, changed the product. The UL test report and information is still valid. We expect to re-initiate our listing when the economic climate warrents.

Unlike many competitors, Flamebuster Flame Retardant Sprays contain NO SALT, a corrosive which can cause significant damage. Flamebusters Flame Retardant Sprays are complex chemical compounds requiring only one coat using a low-pressure applicator such as a garden or paint sprayer. By comparison many competitive products require 2 to 3 applications by high-pressure equipment. Flamebuster Flame Retardant Spray is shipped ready to use.
